OPENING QUESTIONS: All actual/physical measurements made *inside* the "cave" are....?
Now please go back and look at your work from yesterday and make sure to include an accurate drawing to represent each problem.

LEARNING TARGET:
FORMULAE OBJECTUS:
mirror equation: 1/i + 1/o = 1/f (where any negative values occur "outside the cave")
magnification:
M = - i/o (scale version)
hi/ho = -i/o (ratio version)
(where negative values indicate an inverted image, values more than one indicate a magnified image, decimal values less than one indicate a reduced image)
WORDS O' THE DAY:
- Object Length ("Distance from the mirror to the object")
- Image Length ("Distance from the mirror to the image")
- Center (Center of the circle!)
- Concave (edge bends inward, like a cave)
- Focus ("Where light waves converge")
- Focal Length ("Distance from the mirror to the focal point")
- Real image ("Light rays converge")
- Virtual image ("Backwards convergence")
WORK O' THE DAY:
Today we'll be working to tie all the work we've done so far together in a nice pretty bow
So...
You'll need to create a nice, neat, annotated solution of your problem.
Oh and by the by, to K.I.S.S. I'm going to say let's make the center point to be 2 times the focal length.
Then please create a drawing TO SCALE that accurately depicts the height of your object and image as well the correct placement of the image, object, focus and center.
Now please do a ray diagram in separate colors (although I recommend tracing your rays very lightly in pencil first, to avoid *DOH* type mistakes)
In matching colors, please quoth the mirror-light-ray-rule that matches that ray.
HERE'S MY EXAMPLE FOR PROBLEM #1:

When (if?) you're done with that one, please let's all do #4
